Fact 4: The sun is the primary source of fossil fuels (coal, gas and petroleum). The transfer process began with life as plants or animals whose energy came from the sun millions of years ago
Non-renewable energy is the condition used to describe sources of energy that are not easily renewed and could one day run out. These include coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear power. These energy sources beside nuclear power are gathered from the remains of fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels are compounds made of carbon and hydrogen. Millions of years ago these substances are the remains of plants and animals. As the plants and animals died, they were buried under sand and mud which stopped them from decaying. Over time, more sediment covered the remains. Along with heat and pressure, these remains are slowly being turned into coal, oil and natural gas.
The forming of fossil fuels began with plants and their energy gathering process from the sun called photosynthesis. That is why the sun is the main source accountable for these fossil fuels energy.

Shouldn’t your diagram label in this section state that plants release O2 through respiration, rather than CO2?
I am very impressed with the content and clarity of this website and find it has very interesting and useful information. Thanks.
Plants (like animals) release CO2 when they respire and O2 during photosynthesis. During the day, both processes go on with a net production of O2. At night, no photosynthesis occurs but the plants are still alive and active metabolically. They fuel the metabolic processes of life by burning sugars in cellular respiration which releases CO2.
I was looking for solar related info this was great
Really like the blog. I’ve been creating solar panels for small businesses for years now and doing pretty well… Glad I found this place.
LET US ALL JOIN HANDS TOGETHERTO SAVE OUR EARTH OTHERWIS IT WILL BE EVENTO LATE TO SAVE US FROM THE DISASTERS WHICH WILL HAPPEN.
we should try to uselimited amount of fuels so that it can be used by our futuree generation
